About
Irvin is a Director of Photography based in Los Angeles interested in telling stories that explore the human condition and diverse cultures. Recently he was nominated for the Panavision Award for Best Narrative Feature Cinematography for his work in Dealing With Dad. The film also won the Audience Award for Best Feature at the 2022 LA Asian Film Festival. Another one of his recent work, Query, premiered at the 2020 Tribeca Film Festival and was nominated for Best Narrative Short. He has also had the pleasure of teaching a Film Independent Masterclass in Cinematography in Egypt during the 44th Cairo International Film Festival. He has been a fellow in the Film Independent's Project Involve Cinematography Fellowship and ASC Mentorship program.
