30 years as a professional photojournalist, 20 years as a television network photojournalist / editor, including 14 years as a Senior Photojournalist at CNN, covering national and international news stories: presidential campaigns, natural disasters, breaking news. Major entertainment and sporting event coverage includes red carpet arrivals for the Oscars and Emmys, Super Bowls, NBA championships and All Star Games. Wide range of skill sets including shooting and editing video, producing news stories, writing for television and on-line, and shooting and editing still photos for on-line distribution. Extensive experience shooting on location for long-form documentaries. Constantly studying latest technology, upgrading skills from Beta to DVCAM to XDCAM disc, and progressing from editing analog tape to non-linear editing on Final Cut Pro. Equally adept working independently or as part of a production team, as well as managing a staff of photojournalists. Hart Images Media Services utilizes the latest in broadcast equipment, including Sony F5 and Z100 cameras with full ENG/EFP build outs, Sony wireless mics, Litepanel Astra and Nila Varsa LED light kits.
