Founded by Neeti Sharma and Rakshak Diwan in 2023, Anahad Films is a diversified mass media and entertainment company dedicated to producing gripping content in form of films, ad films, music videos, fashion films, short films, drama series and feature films. Neeti Sharma completed her Master of Fine Arts in Filmmaking at New York Film Academy, Los Angeles in 2022, after completing her undergraduate degree, BBA in Media and Communication at Whistling Woods International, Mumbai, India in 2017. Rakshak Diwan is an accomplished filmmaker with 8 years of experience in directing, cinematography, and editing. His work is characterised by a passion for storytelling and visual artistry, and his films have been selected for international film festival and competitions. In the last 6 years, Anahad Films has produced short films and music videos in addition to being involved in various capacities such as editor, cinematographer, casting director, assistant director, and production designer on several short films, ad films, and music videos. 'Chunni', a Punjabi language short film written by Neeti was selected for competition and screened in Kashish International Queer Film Festival, 2020, Image+Nation Montreal LGBTQUEER Film Festival, Aks International Minority Film Festival amongst others. In addition to her work in films, for the past few years, Neeti has also worked as a content developer for websites, product books, and blogs.
Produced in 2019, Chunni, a Punjabi language short film was selected for competition at the Kashish International Queer Film Festival, Mumbai, Image+nation LGBTQueer Film Festival, Montreal and Aks International Minority Film Festival, Pakistan. In 2021, Chunni was screened for the Star Network employees and is now available to view at MXPlayer.in and Kashish Online Platform (online.mumbaiqueerfest.com).

OFF DUTY was selected for competition and screened at THE 60 SECOND FILM FESTIVAL, PUNE, INDIA. We have certain beauty standards. For us, people who dress a certain way or look a certain way are beautiful and the remaining are just not good enough for us. Through this video, we are trying to show everyone is beautiful in their own way, and to help others see the same, we have tried to dress brick kiln workers as fashion models.
A girl, new to the city life, finds herself battling her small town insecurities while trying to get accustomed to the city life. On the other hand, a city girl fed up of her fiancé' busy lifestyle tries to seek attention from a stranger. What will be the consequences of one's insecurities and the other's efforts to gain attention remains to be seen.
Internal bond and love transcends blood relation, such is its power. A young village boy, Raghav leaves no stone unturned to provide comfort to his beloved Keshav Bhaiya, so that he can hold him back from not going to the city. But to his dismay, Keshav only comes back to the village to take his mother along with him to the city. All the love and bond becomes futile, when Keshav announces his decision out-loud, shattering Raghav’s heart into many pieces.
