RISING
Bringing together seventeen cinematographers from across five continents, the film is a global portrait of achingly beautiful, real human moments. We see love, passion, connection and solitude, set against a backdrop of dramatic landscapes from countries including Thailand, Iran, USA, Uganda, India, Russia, Germany, UAE, Ireland and more. The piece is set to an ethereal score, with original music composed by Eric Whelan and Roisin El Cherif on vocals. Narrated by one of Ireland’s brightest rising stars Denise Chaila, RISING is a tribute to the relentless resilience of the human spirit, a visual reflection of the beauty, fragility, vulnerability and hope inherent in our modern world.
