In Essex, Ontario, Craig Forget is busy making beautiful artwork out of reclaimed wood. For Forget, there is simply no comparison between the soul and character that comes with reclaimed wood versus the sterility of other options. In some cases, nature has taken centuries to craft the materials with which he makes his pieces, and for that, Forget is both impressed and grateful. The process of making his artwork is similarly meditative, as he doesn't plan pieces out so much as he sees where they lead him - and it seems they always lead him to beautiful results.
