About
I'm a video journalist/editor based in Bangkok for Agencia EFE. I specialize in documentary projects and video shorts with an expertise in Aerial Cinematography. I build and design my own drones for use in a variety of different environments in order to get shots that few can. My work has been shown on CBS, Nat Geo, Al Jazeera, BBC, and The Daily Mail to name a few. I am alumni of UBC's graduate school of journalism, I headed the english video desk at Agencia EFE, and have been working in Asia since 2013 pursuing my goal of being a foreign correspondent.

Razing of iconic house in Bangkok highlights struggles with over-development
Bangkok (Thailand) 31 Oct 2016 (efe_epa).- (Cliff Vermette) Asoke BTS Station, at the heart of Bangkok's busiest intersection, belies the presence of one of the last remaining colonial-style houses in the Thai capital. Built in the early 1920s and made with very rare golden teak, Hemingway's and its leafy garden area sit as an anachronism amongst the frenetic development that has engulfed the Asoke area and Bangkok in general.
