Book published in 2009. It portrays portraits of families in Brazil showing the generations. It’s in B&W, all shot with a Hasselblad. The purpose of the project is to show the traces we inherit and that is undeniable. Also shows the origin os the families from various countries that chose Brazil as their homeland.
Geden Choeling, is the oldest nunnery in the Dharamsala area. The nunnery had absorbed a steady stream of refugee nuns since 1975 and now about 200 nuns live and study there. The nunnery has a well-established education system and an office run by the nun’s committee. Most of the nuns at Geden Choeling attend regular classes, while other nuns are taking on responsibilities in the nunnery. In 2019 in a trip to India, I was welcomed by the nuns, and made these portraits. All shot with a Hasselblad
