Before puting his both feet in documentary photography on 2015, Gui Christ, worked for 8 years as designer and advertisement photographer. During that time, won several international awards working on global ranged productions. On 2016 founded Gringo Collective and since that has been working on humanitarian documentary projects and commercial assignments for international media groups as National Geographic, Al Jazeera, Vice and BBC.

During the 70’s the Lençois island became a legend. The isolated village located at the equatorial Brazilian state of Maranhão was pointed as having the highest albinism percentage worldwide. Among 400 inhabitants, at that time, 18 suffered from a unique kind of the anomaly, 6000 times bigger than the global rate of 0,0005% .
