An internationally published filmmaker and photographer with 7 years of visual storytelling and production experience and has worked with global, regional and national media houses, NGOs, private and public sector.
In April 2021, the country of Sierra Leone conferred citizenship to people of the African Diaspora with valid genetic ancestry test results. We understood our assignment and we helped several people reconnect with their ancestral homeland and people. This Documentary Short shares the transformative experiences enjoyed by members of the African Ancestry Family. Deep gratitude to Francis Musa Momoh (R & D Officer, Monuments and Relics Commission), Dr. Memunatu B. Pratt (Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs), Yvonne Aki-Sawyer (Mayor, Freetown), as well as the many people not yet named here who have helped us realize this historic achievement.
