Gabriel Villas-Bôas is a photographer and producer, born and lives in São Paulo. He graduated in cinema and is now CEO of the production company Maica Filmes. He directed photography for several short films, in addition to many videos in which he directed both the direction and production, among which the documentaries “Kuarup no Kamaiurá” (2016), “Vem da Terra” (2018) stand out. , and, recently, “Aritana, invincible in your world” (2020), filmed in the Xingu indigenous territory. Since 2020, he has participated in the largest art fair in Latin America, SP Arte-Foto. Son of a photographer mother and an indigenous father, he learned early on to record his love for the land and to perceive the immanent poetry in life. He photographs as a practice of re-enchanting the world.
