About

Mout Iv is an independent freelance filmmaker with over 5 years of experience in the Cambodian film industry with local and international crews. Mout worked and trained under the Founder/Owner, Creative Director, and Executive Producer of 802AD Films & KlapYaHandz Music, Sok Visal from 2012-2016. Mout began his career as a Production Assistant (PA), following his ambition to be proactive and his contribution back to Cambodia. Mout encountered notable success early in his career before given the opportunity to become a 1st Assistant Director, Production Manager, Camera Operator, Video Editor, Property Master, Location Manager, Production Coordinator and Fixer. Mout’s early works as a PA and fixer started with events, music videos, and TV commercials, which eventually led to documentary and feature film works. In 2013, Mout worked on his first feature film, “KROAB PICH” -GEMS ON THE RUN, as a 1st Camera Assistance/Behind The Scenes Cameraman/Locations Manager. Subsequently, Mout served as a 1st Assistant Director on 2 Cambodian’s feature films “POPPY GOES TO HOLLYWOOD” and “IN THE LIFE OF MUSIC”. Mout than moved on to worked on other feature films such as, “JAILBREAK”- Location Manager/Set Designer/Set Builder. “ROBOT 4” by Mark Toia as the Property Master. Mout has also assisted on high profile projects, including the international Travel Channel series “VIEWS FROM ASIA” under a New York based Production House “MY ENTERTAINMENT” as a fixer, and in the unit team with a British Television series “HOOTEN & THE LADY” under “INDOCHINA PRODUCTIONS” based in Thailand.
