Pat Shahabian is a Director of Photography and Camera Operator working locally in Los Angeles and New York specializing in documentary films. Pat has maintained a lifelong passion for story telling and the visual arts. An avid photographer and musician from an early age, Pat see's cinematography as an extension of his desire to tell stories in compelling and non-traditional ways. Pat has served as the Director of Photography for clients such as First We Feast, Google, PBS, Spotify, Vice News on HBO, The Economist, Burger King, The Player's Tribune, Vevo, Mass Appeal and many more. His work for First We Feast has been covered by the LA Times, screened at NY Food Film Festival, and earned a nomination for a James Beard Award in 2018. As a camera operator Pat has shot for TV shows such as Travel Channel's Mysteries at the Museum and Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Trevor Noah and The Opposition with Jordan Klepper. Internationally Pat has worked in Romania, Argentina, Uruguay, France, Canada, and has shot in almost all 50 states. Pat is currently available for freelance assignments domestically and abroad.
