Founded by Cy Anderson in 1981, Cy’s company, Cyrus Sound, has over 30 years experience in professional audio. Cy Anderson began playing guitar at the age of 10 and he has played all styles of music and toured the United States as a professional musician. He continues to make music and has several albums of his own music available on major music streaming services. Cy was a full-time faculty member in Digital Film and Video Production at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh from 1992 until 2014, and he was formerly Audio Production Engineer for WPGH-TV and also WPXI-TV in Pittsburgh. He’s worked in live sound and has many professional credits and he has done post production on two feature films. He is a member of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE), and a member of the University Film and Video Association. Cy has a B.S. from Penn State, and an M.S. Ed from Duquesne University in Instructional Technology. He currently is adjunct faculty at Point Park University and La Roche University teaching sound in their film programs.

David Bernabo is a filmmaker, musician, dancer, visual artist, and writer, performing with the bands Host Skull and How Things Are Made; devising dances with his variable dance company, MODULES; and often collaborating with Maree ReMalia | merrygogo. He curates and produces work for the Ongoing Box imprint and co-curates the Lightlab Performance Series with slowdanger. His documentary films have covered food and food justice (the four-film Food System series), art and music (Site Specific: A History of the Mattress Factory, In A Dark Wood), economics (Moundsville), and nature (Wild Human). David'd client work includes documentary commissions for the Mattress Factory museum and the Carnegie Museum of Art, corporate work for PPG and Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and mission-based work for 412 Food Rescue and TeenTaal. David's films have screened at the On Art Film Festival, JFilm Festival, Re:NEW Festival, Afronaut(a) Film Club, the Foodable Film Festival, and on WQED’s Filmmakers Corner.

I have been working in film and video for about 15 years now. I have a bachelor's degree in Film and Media Arts from Temple University. I have experience working on movies, commercials, documentaries, news, live sports and pretty much just about every other form of media that exists. Throughout the years I've had the pleasure of working for numerous companies, such as HBO, Roll Global, Conde Naste, Hearst Digital Media, BCBG, Interscope Records, just to name a few. I've been a camera operator, director, editor, and producer, with most of my time nowadays being spent on the latter. Storytelling is my tool to share everyday moments, showcase unfamiliar cultures and to battle division and differences with truth and empathy for others. However, I also perceive the world through the lens of a geographer and I’m fascinated by how economic, political and cultural structures affect the autonomy of individuals and societies. It’s no wonder why I’m drawn to themes such as immigration, universal healthcare, climate change, environmental justice, human rights and access to education. When I’m not envisioning a better world, you can find me learning a new language, climbing trees, playing a classic rock song or letting loose on the dance floor.

Silas Hite is an Emmy-winning composer with music in his DNA. Before becoming a freelance composer, he began his career co-scoring blockbuster and independent films such as Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs and Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist with his uncle, noted composer Mark Mothersbaugh (DEVO). His music can also be heard in television shows around the world, from kids shows like Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get A Clue!, Disney’s Dance-A-Lot Robot, and PIXAR’s Mater’s Tall Tales to adult shows such as Chef's Table (Netflix) and Abused by the Police (BBC). He has scored hundreds of commercials for clients such as Apple, McDonalds, and Chevy, earning him an Emmy, Adweek's Campaign of the Decade, and most recently a Titanium Grand Prix from Cannes.
