He has eaten monkey brains and boiled larvae. He’s climbed a mountain or three. He’s flown backwards off an aircraft carrier, and crawled through a 20 year old tunnel 1000 ft. underground. He’s done many things in the name of photography, and hasn’t been kicked out of the house yet. Marvi Lacar is the brains behind the braun, the Head Office, the M, the Batman to his Robin. Photojournalism has led her down a long and twisted road that has helped her make lasting connections with people and creatures around the world. Isaac Garza is a Director of Photography and has been for over 30 years. He specializes in corporate branding, commercials and documentary work. Isaac started his career in 3/4 inch video tape and quickly moved to super 16mm film by purchasing an Arriflex 16BL by getting a lien on his car. Isaac is very proficient in multiple camera formats including Sony, Red, Panasonic, Canon and Arriflex. Isaac recently completed work in international journalism by documenting immigration issues along the Texas-US and Mexico border for Austrian and Japanese television. Isaac has also worked for national companies such as Dodge Trucks, Proctor and Gamble and Turner Classic Movies; as well as regional south Texas companies such Lone Star National Bank, Doctors Hospital Renaissance, City of San Antonio, HEB Groceries, and CPS Energy. He worked for five years with the Selena Quintanilla family shooting and producing in-house videos as well as music videos for Pete Astudillo and Jennifer Pena. His work on these videos was nominated for several Tejano music awards. On his spare time, Isaac is an avid cyclist and wildlife photographer where he won third place in the ValleyLand Fund Photography Contest in the small insect division.
