I am a composer, performer, producer and recording artist residing in the Washington, DC area, and a part-time product trainer for Casio Music Gear. I've scored documentaries for Voice of America, including "Boko Haram: Journey from Evil", narrated by Award-winning British-Nigerian actor David Oyelowo. "Boko Haram" won first prize at the New York Festivals World’s Best TV & Films ceremony at NAB 2018 in the "international documentary" category. Another documentary I scored for VOA, "A Single Step: Journeys of Women Leaders", featuring academy award-winning actress Sally Field, won a finalist certificate in the Biography/Profiles at the 2016 New York Festivals International TV & Film Awards, and the VOA doc "AIDS: Living in the Shadows", featuring Sir Elton John, won the Silver World Medal Award at the #NYFTVFilmAwards in 2015. I have been nominated for "best score/short film" at the Liberty University Cinematic Arts Student Showcase 2017 for Becky M. Barker's World War I drama "We Are the Dead", and for Best Score Short Film at the 2012 Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema for the science fiction drama “The Cosmonaut”, and for best score at the Machinima Festival 2006 in NYC for the EA Gameplay Trailer for “Battlefield 2142". I scored two documentaries featured at the 2013 Justice Conference Film Festival, Suzanne Taylor Glover's "The Road We Know" (from Citygate Films), and the CIY production, "Becoming Sons and Daughters" (I was 1 of 3 composers on this film, which also was the winner of "Best U.S. Documentary" at the 2012 San Diego Christian Film Festival). I've scored the trailer for "The Ville" for Zynga, music packages for VOA’s Persian News Network and Africa News Network, Telly Award-winning shorts for PCM Animation Studios and Citygate Films, and ID tags for the United Football League. Hannah Price is a graduate student at the New England Conservatory, studying under the mentorship of Ayano Ninomiya. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Oberlin Conservatory, after having begun her studies at Indiana University under the instruction of Sibbi Bernhardsson. In past summers she has participated in the Aspen Music Festival and School, Bowdoin International Music Festival, National Orchestral Institute, and Litomysl International String Masterclass, among others. Hannah has performed as an orchestral musician in venues including Carnegie Hall, Severance Hall, and the Meyerson Symphony Center. An active advocate for community engagement, Hannah has been involved in the development of the Musical Storytelling Project at Oberlin and as a participant in programs that bring music and instruction to Grafton Correctional Institution and hurricane-stricken areas of Puerto Rico.

I am a Persian singer and songwriter. I was born in Kerman, Iran and emigrated to the United States in 2009. I obtained my degree in architecture from Tehran Azad university and have since worked in this field. In addition, I studied Persian Avaz with Master Hengameh Akhavan. I have released more than 17 songs in last 8 years. As a poet I have written the lyrics of most of my songs. I have had the opportunity to work with great musicians such as Babak Shahraki, Masoud Jahed, Mazda Ansari, Hooshang Farahani, Hamid Behrouzinia, Behrooz Shiri, and Ehsan Matoori.

Sam Carolla is an active musician in the greater DC metro area, and a native Virginian. Initially influenced by alternative rock, he started music lessons at 12 and soon became inspired by the sounds of jazz and fusion. You can find Sam playing locally in a variety of styles including rock, pop, indie, worship, jazz, big band, and musical theater. He has performed with artists including Cat Janice, Oh He Dead, Skydiver, Cristian Perez, Wade Beach, The Peter Edelman Trio, and many more.

Kokayi is a Grammy nominated artist and producer whose career began at a small club in D.C.; fueled by his dad's vinyl collection and a love for hip hop and go-go music. His recent work as a vocalist can be found on Goldlink's "At What Cost", Jazz harmonist Gregoire Maret's "Wanted' and Afro -Cuban pianist Omar Sosa's "Ile". As a producer and composer Kokayi has crafted sounds for "Kevin Hart's Laugh at my Pain", MTV's Rebel Music and Rebel Music -Joan Baez , in which he enlisted his penchant for blending hip hop, electronica, neo-classical, blues and folk to capture the essence of the visual. Kokayi continues to perform and tour as; a soloist under Kokayi, with his Afropunk alum band the CZRS, as one third of the electrojazz outfit, Proverb Trio, with McArthur recipient Dafnis Prieto and David Bowie collaborator, Jason Lindner, as a vocalist with Rollin's Band member Melvin Gibbs' Elevated Entity, as well as continuing to work with his mentor Steve Coleman. As an educator he works as faculty at the School of Improvisational Music in NY, as a guest Collaborator with international arts program OneBeat and as a music emissary with the US State Department.
