I pride myself on my versatility and creativity, as well as my dedication to create long-term, repeat clients whenever possible. As a result of these traits, I have a well-established positive relationship online (Top-Rated Freelancer on Upwork with a 100% job success score) with a high percentage of return clients. As an editor, I specialize in the Adobe Creative Cloud. I use Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, Lightroom, and Media Encoder on a daily basis. I've built channels from the ground up and enjoyed being a part of ones that are launched into stellar growth. I've edited content that went on to air on national television, all from the comfort of my well-worn office chair. Over the years I've also developed a deep understanding of SEO and best practices (especially for YouTube and Wordpress content). I also worked as a writer for an international Content Production Agency, through which I created for gigantic brands like Nintendo, AllState Insurance, and more. I hold my undergraduate degree in creative writing, so I've been known to get in on the ground-level with scripting to help punch up content when the need arises. In short, I'm a no-nonsense creative-type with an established reputation who’s constantly taking on new challenges and would love to talk with you about your project(s). I hope to hear from you soon!

Hailing from Portland, Oregon, Martin Vavra is an award-winning film and commercial director. Early on, he had a love for a variety of different art forms. At the age of five, he began playing the drums. Later, he toured Europe as part of an orchestra. At the age of 10 he began painting water colors, with several of his paintings getting showings and winning awards. His college years became a mishmash of rock band performances, science classes and sci-fi consumption. For many years, Martin was a wildland fire fighter, eventually becoming an ecologist. In 2005, wanderlust caught hold and Martin left ecology to travel, leading him to discover his true passion, filmmaking. Since then, his life has been dedicated to cinematic storytelling. Martin’s series, The Last Stand, made its debut on DailyMotion and has received millions of views. Living up to the Rising Star title awarded to him by the Oregon Media Production Association, his films have been awarded numerous honors, including, Best Short Documentary and Best LGBQT at the Breckenridge FF, Festival Jury Prize at the Humanist Film Festival, Best Director, Best Series and Best Score. Commercial work has included spots for Nike, Microsoft, Intel, HP, Daimler and Goodwill. Martin has achieved industry recognition, with multiple Hermes Gold, Marcom Gold, AVA Gold, and the Communicator awards. In addition to directing, Martin co-founded the post-effects company The Refuge VFX. During its operation, his team had the privilege of creating monster and creature effects for top TV shows like Grimm, Portlandia and The Librarians, and the feature film The Last Knight. When he’s not directing, Martin can be found on a tall mountain backpacking or in a hidden stream fly fishing. When the outdoors isn't calling, Martin has been known to build and wear various Star Wars and HALO armor suites. Martin and his wife, Jenn, are owned by two rescue huskies that travel with them on all of their adventures.

My goal as a journalist is to inform, educate, engage, and inspire my audience. With Journalism today, I find it more important than ever to provide a well-balanced and objective approach. Since licensing my first photograph series to both NBC and CBS in the Spring of 2011, I have become increasingly active since graduating from Northern Arizona University and the Student Media Center newsroom. After graduation, I was hired by the Southwest Learning Community division of the National Park Service to produce and complete a series of micro-documentary projects focusing on the Arizona park system. Since then, I have continued my battle in the trenches of multimedia. Making something out of nothing by creating work through partnerships and the collaborative execution of such grand schemes conceived by the minds of mice and men. All while earning my place in this career by diversifying my skills and refining each an every one of them with the variety of projects I undertake. The road less traveled Is a beautiful one...

Robert Anthony's work is centered around the power of feeling. This Portland-based filmmaker harnesses the primitive purpose of film: the ability to create emotion and evoke catharsis through his audience. His work uses dramatic elements through dark, moody tones with an emphasis on the surreal. Dark his style may be, his demeanor and attitude on set is the contrary. He possesses an effortless ability to keep all stages of production light-hearted and supportive, familial, yet professional. Maintaining respect and enrichment within his crew and talent is crucial for creating honest expression through film. Robert’s career began with a small agency, requiring him to learn every aspect of filmmaking from start to finish. Being a one-man-band turned him into a multidisciplinary filmmaker, equipping him to take the reigns on larger projects with a full crew for clients such as Bertolli, Frito-Lay, and Toyota to name a few.
