I am a Johannesburg based Filmmaker, Director of Photography (DOP), Multimedia Journalist, Producer and Drone Operator. Over the course of my career I have worked in Europe, the US, the Middle East and Southern Africa with different international organizations including the UN Human Rights Office, Al Jazeera English, Global Citizen, TRT World, Goethe Institut, Vice News on HBO, Bloomberg, Amnesty International, Business Insider and Pacifica Radio. In 2017, together with partner Ntshepeng Motema, I co-founded Seithati Media, an audio-visual storytelling company producing film, video, television, and audio content. We create work that aims to reframe perspectives through delicate storytelling, moving emotions and fresh aesthetics. My standard kit: Two Sony 4K Cinema cameras, the FX6 and FX3, with tripods. I use Sony G Master f/2.8 lenses: 24-70mm &70-200mm. My sound kit includes a Sony UWD-D27 2 person lav mic set & Sennheiser MKE600 shotgun microphone, with Zoom H5 when sound needs to be recorded externally. Adam is writing this biography in the third person. :) He started making videos in high school with his friends - directing and producing a TV show at the age of 16. After completing his BA in Philosophy and Literature at the University of Pretoria, he turned his hobby into a profession. He works in three fields: documentary, advertising and institutional media. Work has taken him to Malaysia, Australia, Angola, The Seychelles, Madagascar, Patagonia, Chile and Argentina to name a few. Sifiso is an award winning Producer/Director for Anaphora Films. He has worked as writer and content producer on SABC talk and magazine shows. After studying Film & TV at Monash University, Khanyile directed Spiderman and Romeo, a ground breaking short documentary about the thrills and dangers of train surfing which screened at numerous local and international festivals and shown on BBC, and Sechuan TV (China). My name is Grant Nelson and I’m a freelance lighting cameraman. I live with my wife and two young daughters in Pretoria, South Africa. I have thirty years experience as a videographer in the television and corporate video industry. For eight of those years I was an insert producer for one of this country’s top investigative programmes, "Carte Blanche" where I focussed on environmental and conservation issues. Hi, I'm Amy! I'm a former TV news reporter turned positive storyteller and filmmaker. After years in TV news, I was discouraged by the constant influx of negativity and was determined to expose the "good news" - people working for real, concrete change in communities around the world. That's why I founded ONEPASS Productions - to create inspirational productions with a purpose, and to tell the stories that so often go untold. My motivation is to educate, to mobilize people for good, to touch lives, and to hopefully be just a small part of the change along the way. This mission has taken me around the world to work with a wide variety of international non-profits, businesses and individuals - from the UN Development Program to Volkswagen South Africa's Community Investment Initiative. I am an emerging independent filmmaker based in South Africa, who trained who trained at the South African School of Motion Picture for four years and has worked extensively in the local film, television and commercials industry. I have written and directed several short films, including City of Ashes, a post apocalyptic sci fi set in the inner city shell of a dystopian Johannesburg and God Dank vir Klank, a mockumentary of the South African music industry loosely based on Die Antwoord. I have traveled for several years across Europe, Asia and Latin America with my camera always firmly in hand. I am most passionate about stories that reveal new ways of thinking or expose previously repressed dialogues. I hunt for character driven pieces about ordinary people making a felt social impact. I take particular interest in African dialogues and cultural narratives that recognize Africa as place of rich and complex conundrums.

I am no longer a young man but am still passionately interested and involved in documentary film making, with expertise in the equestrian field, most particularly horse racing. In 2013, my efforts over the past decade were rewarded with the EQUUS Award for TV journalism, presented by South Africa's horse racing industry. Most of my work in this field has revolved around the people who work in the horse racing industry in South Africa and, to date, I have made over 200 documentaries in this genre. However, I am also intensely interested in most spheres of the arts, particularly the performing arts, being a freelance actor myself, who has appeared on stage, on TV and in film, most notably in Clint Eastwood's "Invictus" in 2009. I would love to document the stories of young people practising in the performing arts field, recording their struggles and successes. Showcasing the performing arts in South Africa would be my ideal. I am also mindful of the moral turpitude of this country, and the decline which has taken place since the rule of Nelson Mandela. The corruption in South Africa needs to be exposed and the specifics need to be highlighted.

I'm a Johannesburg based journalist working with photography, videography and the written word. My work has been published through local and international publications, primarily through the Associated Press, European Pressphoto Agency and Reuters. I worked for local South African publications such as The Citizen and The Sunday Times. I have also worked with various NGO's such as the UN and 350africa. I grew up in South Africa and the United Kingdom, and read literature, philosophy and psychology at university level, graduating with my Honors in neuropsychology. From there, I worked in multinational corporates for a period of two years, but found this unsatisfying. Throughout this period I had been working as a photographer as well, and began to pursue this full time. My work over the last few years has pivoted toward my interest and passion - press, investigative and documentary work.

After directing a few plays as community work, Nqaba began developing concepts for film and television. These activities led to building relationships with a number of film companies in Johannesburg; including the development many TV shows. His most previous work includes directing a 4-part documentary series called Making Cents. He has also worked on a reality show called Rolling With Headliners, a reality show that looks at a 'day in the life' of some of South African celebrities. Nqaba is currently working on the second season of a reality show that looks at the lives of footballers wives, called Diski Divas. Personal Profile Sanele Makhubu born in Jabulani Soweto 1983 December 21. Sanele completed a B-Tech Degree in Multimedia from the University of Johannesburg where he majored in film and TV production (2008). He then pursued a career in the TV industry, he gained experience by directing music videos where he worked as an all-rounder, (2009) Sanele joined a marketing agency, where he became an insert director. He changed direction and joined Big Fish School of Digital filmmaking through an incubator-ship programme sponsored by Multichoice (2010). Within a couple of months in the programme he directed a Mnet Vuka rising star award winning PSA Mantlwane, this was Sanele's first major directorial effort, it marked him a rising star, and he never looked back. Since 2010 till to date Sanele directs documentaries on an average of 1to 2 productions a year and his work has been travelling the globe honouring invitations to showcase at a number of film festivals.

Born in the Kwa-Zulu-Natal (Marianhill), the picturesque part of KzwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa, Joseph Oesi is an award winning and veteran South African news journalist whose work on the African continent has appeared across the world especially in Europe and North America. He was educated in prestigious secondary and tertiary institutions in South Africa (St John’s), France (University of Paris III, La Sorbonne Nouvelle and Grand Ecole: Institute des Hautes Etudes Cinematographique IDECH, Bry-Sur-Mane, Paris) and Australia (Australian Film & TV School, Sydney) where he received a BA degree in Journalism and French Literature and a video editing and camera diploma. In a career spanning three decades, he has produced documentaries in French and English language on African sports and politics for major TV networks including etv, South Africa’s privately owned television; the SABC, South Africa’s public broadcaster; CNN; CBS; Reuters; WTN; APTN; BBC and Thames TV. A few years ago, he founded Hambrook Communications, a communications firm, to assist a variety of clients to tell their stories especially through the television medium.
