Catherine Rose is a freelance self-shooting producer/director with experience of working with production companies large and small, busy newsrooms and International NGOs. Having worked on commercial productions and adverts, documentaries, news packages, charity films and 360 film/Virtual Reality, Catherine has a range of experience to call upon. Catherine is adept at working solo, as well as setting up and running large crews and teams on productions. She loves to use film as a creative tool to engage, inspire and motivate audiences to act. Working as a self-shooting producer and director for WaterAid’s in-house production unit for 5 years, she ended up managing and running the team of producers, freelancers and assistants. Whilst at WaterAid, Catherine directed award-winning short documentary ‘Across the Tracks,’ which explores how good sanitation can help keep women safe from violence in India. She also directed the interactive film, ‘Parallel lives’, which contrasts experiences of midwives in Tanzania and the UK; and realised WaterAid’s first 360/VR project ‘Aftershock’ from initial concept and pitch, through to directing, producing and distributing. The film has been recognised as one of the first successful uses of the immersive medium by an NGO and Catherine has toured the film at a number of festivals and screenings, sharing the impact of the project and lessons learnt. Aftershock transports the viewer to Nepal where a community looks to rebuild their lives after the devastating 2015 earthquakes. Catherine also helped launch investigative NGO Global Witness’s multimedia function by setting up the infrastructure and processes required to create and manage complex film and photo projects as well as producing legally complex films. Prior to joining the NGO world Catherine worked at ITN Productions and BBC Newsnight as well as at other smaller production companies and newsrooms. As a freelancer Catherine works on a range of projects across branded content and charity/NGO producing and shooting/editing. She loves both editorial and creative briefs and can deliver under pressure.

Hi there! I'm Santi and I've always loved to make videos. I used to make films with my parent's old VHS camera, my sister and neighbours were my crew. I'm a creative, motivated and hard working freelance self-shooting PD and video editor looking for new opportunities in working with video, film and documentary. I’ve worked in the UK for the last 6 years producing videos for different industries from music (Universal Publishing Production Music) to corporate (PwC) and more recently feature documentaries. I've worked as an assistant editor as well as directing and producing my own documentaries or being commissioned to do it. All of these years as a freelance have helped me gain great knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects, colour grading, storytelling, camera skills, etc. I've also work in fast paced environments with tight deadlines and I know how to organise myself and my time to deliver the best results and meet the deadlines. I also work as manager in the workspace where my studio is based (Lydian Workspace) at the moment in north London, this allows me to work remotely and has given me a lot of organisational and communication skills having to work as part of a team and dealing with unexpected problems and many different clients. In my spare time I compose music, sing in a tribute band, design websites and love to hike and being in nature. I do things from my heart, with love and passion for telling the best stories possible and getting the best evocative and beautiful images. Give me a shout with any questions. All the best, Santi.

I enjoy what I do immensely; and I like to think it shows in the work I produce. With my twelve years experience I feel very confident creating engaging and emotive video content across many different sectors for various clients. Some of my work includes producing and filming five shoots in two weeks around the world for Zurich International, travelling through the Namib desert and climbing the highest mountain in Namibia with INEOS, producing a series of videos for Rolls Royce and scaling an active volcano with Richard Branson for Virgin. I can have many projects live at the same time and am involved in the production process from start to finish. I work closely with the client to achieve what they want by ensuring I get the best out of the crew and talent with whatever resources the budget can support and within the time scheduled. I shoot and edit most of the work I produce and have good pool of resources if required. I am confident when leading a small team, rely on my editorial eye to ensure quality at all times and consider good communication and dedicated working mentality important when on any job.

I am part of a 4-piece filmmaker collective called Black Revolver Films, and we are always on hand for any type of video production, from documentary pieces to commercials. As we started out over 10 years ago making behind the scenes shorts, we have grown from our early documentary days to creating high end commercials and promos for a whole host of repeat customers, including a 7 year relationship with Madame Tussauds, as well as recent collaborations with American Express, Invisalign and Panasonic. In 2020 we also acquired our very own photography studio, meaning we can shoot projects in house, creating even more of a 'one stop shop' environment, and providing our customer everything they need. As a team of 4 we are dedicated to creating the best out of every project, with each team member skilled in all aspects of film production from pre production through to the final edit, meaning wether the shoot calls for a singular camera person, or a full crew, we're more than well versed for the task.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with great institutions such as The Royal National Theatre, The Barbican, Amazon, Kiln Theatre, University of East London, The MOBO Awards amongst others. With an immense passion for filming I have shot and created work across commercials, promos, performance, documentary and short-form - motivated by my love for the art and self growth within the industry. I have extensive shooting experience across all major cinema system cameras - Arri, Sony, Canon - and currently shoot and direct with a mobile setup built around a Sony A7S iii. I find that my warm and easy going personality helps lead and collaborate within different crews and I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life. As a dedicated team player my motto is to strive towards the main goal of the client/organisation to support their vision.
