Originally an undocumented immigrant from Argentina, Eduardo Daniel Vilchez has been involved in media and video production since 2001 in all capacities in front and behind the camera. “A dreamer before Dreamers,” Mr. Vilchez knows the importance of supporting communities of color and the importance of mainstream narratives and how they bring about positive change where it is most needed. A filmmaker, photographer, and video journalist by training, Mr. Vilchez has recently worked as a freelance producer, cameraman, and editor for NBC/Telemundo and Univision, while also balancing large clients like Paris St.-Germain FC, BeIN Sports, Fox Sports, and Sony Music. He was also a media consultant and video producer for SOMOS Community Care in NYC and has recently done pro-bono work for The Door and The Clemente Soto Velez Cultural and Educational Center in Manhattan. Ryan Christopher Jones is Mexican-American photojournalist and anthropologist originally from Central California, currently living in Cambridge, MA. He is a regular contributor to The New York Times, ProPublica and The Washington Post, and often works on stories of labor, environment and migration across the United States and Mexico. Two of his 2021 collaborations with the Center for Collaborative Investigative Journalism examined the nebulous politics of water in California’s Central Valley. Other recent work also includes in-depth reporting during the Covid-19 pandemic in New York City and Boston, the overdose crisis, NYC housing crisis, and economic mobility. He has written about the ethics of photojournalism in two 2018 op-eds for The New York Times, “How Photography Exploits the Vulnerable” and “The Deja Vu of Mass Shootings.” In 2022-23 he was a judge for the Pulitzer Prizes and was also awarded the American Mosaic Journalism Prize for his coverage on under-reported communities across the U.S. He is currently a PhD student in Social Anthropology at Harvard University, where he will continue to study the political ecology of water, space and power in California, with a focus on the ways that Latinx and farmworker communities are responding to climate devastation across the Western United States.

I am a photojournalist and DP/Director based in New York City. While finishing my degree in Economic Policy at NYU, I undertook an internship with Pulitzer-Prize winning photographer/director Vincent Laforet, and have been working for a range of clients ever since. I spend most of my days shooting freelance assignments for The New York Times, but I've also been sent on assignment for The New York Times Magazine and Newsweek, among others. My video work focuses on creating short films and branded content for a range of clients, from local charities and non-profits like City Harvest and The Visiting Nurse Service of New York, to more national brands like Samsung. I am also a proud teacher/volunteer at NYC SALT, a non-profit photography program serving inner city teenagers in New York City.

After athletically peaking in high school and tearing some ligaments along the way, Chris (aka Doza) discovered a passion for photography and motion. I am a woman, Brazilian and mother of two beautiful women. It was while contemplating the mountains in Utah (USA), as an exchange student, that I discovered photography.
