I am a multi-media producer/director/writer with a specialty in docs. My best known work is as co-producer of HBO Documentary Film's HEROIN: CAPE COD, USA, working one-on-one with Oscar-winning director Steven Okazaki for 18 months. (nominated for CINEMA EYE HONORS 2017) I'm also a media strategy consultant and social impact producer. Recent SIP credits are HBO docs WARNING: THIS DRUG MAY KILL YOU and RISKY DRINKING. My background is in journalism, documentary filmmaking, writing, and photography. I've worked extensively in Indian Country, and have worked a wide range of situations, from traveling press during the Obama '08 campaign to filming a doc in Maidan during the Ukraine revolution. I like weird people and weird people like me. I am a multi-platform reporter with a passion for visuals. I came into journalism through photography, where I am well versed in breaking news, long-term features, portraiture and pretty much everything in between.
