Im a Spain based Cinematographer and Visual Storyteller. Over the past years I have had the honor to work with clients such as HBO, Sony Pictures, BBC, Deutsche TV, The Washington Post, Tech Crunch, Stateless Media, Upworthy, Coca-Cola, NIVEA, Colgate, CineMAX, RedFuse bringing real stories to film. I also take a lot of pride in working on experimental projects that start from scratch, willing to show something original, dare and untold. This are my favourite ones. In any type of situation, whether it be a remote location with harsh conditions, to shoot or a high stress client project with a super tight turn around - I am always looking to create something cinematic, evocative, emotional and unique with my camera work and narrative. There is an incredible amount of content out there this days. Amazing real stories matched with poorly and unmotivated Imagery, There is also a fair amount of very beautiful pieces that are just completely lacking any content. As a Visual Storyteller and Cinematographer I am looking for that sweet-spot of marrying excellent storytelling with high end cinematic visuals that let the viewer dive even deeper into the story and connect in a way that wouldn't otherwise be possible. I personally believe this makes stories stand out. After working in CHANNEL 9, one of the main tv stations in Buenos Aires, as outside broadcast technician/video engineer, and having attended some very important courses for my career, like cinematography in the national film union, I bought my first Betacam SP in 1998 and started working as a freelance lighting cameraman. I completed my professional education with some other courses and attending Direction of Photography at E.N.E.R.C. (the national film school, one of the main in Latin America). Since then I have worked as Director of photography and/or camera operator in feature films, feature and TV documentaries, short films and commercials. Worked for international clients like ARTE TV, NRK, CANAL +, NETFLIX, HBO, NBC, VIACOM and most of the main production companies in Argentina. Highly skilled camera operator. I really enjoy handheld camera work, but worked on almost every camera platform: dolly, jib, steadicam, underwater, onboard of boats, planes, helicopters, etc. As DoP/Camera in TV documentaries I have international credits and shot award winning docs. My name is Pablo García Saldaña, I'm originally from Cuernavaca, Morelos, and since I was a child I showed interest in natural history. I studied science communication at Tec de Monterrey and along with my studies I got my first jobs as a PA and 1st AC in film and television . Obtained two diplomas in documentary cinematography, the first in 2007 at the London Film Academy and the second in 2019 at the CCC in Mexico City. I have experience working with different types of cameras and sensors, from DSLR/Mirrorless to Cinema Cameras such as Sony F55, Sony FX6, Canon C300mkll and 500mkll, RED, Arri Alexa Mini among others. I started working with natural history was in 2016, when I 1st AC at the production of a documentary for the conservation of blue whale and other endangered species. Currently based in Mexico City, I specialize in cinematography and have had the privilege of documenting Bison, Mexican Wolf, Jaguar, California Condor, Leather-back Turtle and other species in their natural habitat. In addition to my work as a cinematographer I teach photography and video classes at Canon Academy and at the ACAMPADOC International Festival that takes place in Los Santos City, Panama.

I am a multilingual (English, Spanish, Portuguese) filmmaker, producer and translator. My broadcast debut as a director, 'Voices of Survival', screened on Al Jazeera English in late 2022. I have had a range of production roles, from Researcher on the Emmy-nominated feature doc 'The Art of Political Murder' through to Line Producer and Field Producer across films for HBO, Al Jazeera, The Guardian and Business Insider. My skills include fact-checking, access, public information requests, location clearance, archive, historical research, treatment and article writing. I have translated from Spanish and Portuguese into English on over 15 productions and also have interpreting experience. My journalism and content has appeared in various publications including Vice, Open Democracy, New Internationalist, Latin America Bureau. My own short films as a director have previously screened at the Tate Exchange, Bertha Doc House, ICA, South London Gallery and at festivals. I previously received a fellowship with One World Media for a short film I shot in Brazil. I have also been commissioned by cultural organizations, scriptwriters and charities to film event videos.

Adrian has directed the casting for features films such as "Malaventura" by Michel Lipkes, “Mai morire” by Enrique Rivero, "Yo" by Matías Meyer & "Todo lo demás" by Natalia Almada.

Alexandra Bas is a Mexico City based cinematographer from Venezuela, ICFC member, with experience in narrative and documentary films; currently working in several projects of music videos and commercials in the mexican industry. Among her short films highlights "Daughter Whore", which was part of the International Competition of Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2013 (qualifier for the annual Academy Awards®), also selected in 18 international film festivals, where it was awarded 4 international awards and 6 on the national level. Alexandra participated as cinematographer in the short film "Eva" Official Selection in three category A Film Festivals at 2015: Moscow International Film Festival (World Premiere), Mar de Plata Film Festival and Montreal World Film Festival/Student Film Festival. Alexandra was one of the cinematographers selected for TALENTS BUENOS AIRES 2014 and then, she participated in the project KINOMADA Lanaudière 2015 in Canada, where she filmed the cinematography for three short films with several Latino American directors: "Aquel martes de Otoño" by Jeremy Hatcher (Chile), "Salitre" by Lara Belov (Brazil) & Carlos Mendoza (Mexico) and, "Le dicen amor" by Paulina Dana (Argentina). In Algeria, she filmed the documentary feature film "Cilima" by Aissa Djouamaa, shooting at the same time three narrative short films with different directors as part of the same project. In Mexico City, she made the cinematography of the short films: “Mateo” by Fernando Pérezgil, Official Selection in Trieste Science+Fiction Festival 2019 and nominated to Best Cinematography in Pantalla de Cristal Awards 2019; as well as “Un mundo raro” by Eugenia Llaguno, currently in post production. Alexandra was one of the Facultad de Cine’s founder teachers, where she taught Cinematography I. Among her future projects is the narrative feature film “Sembradoras” by the colombian director Christian Mejía, whose teaser was filmed in the Chilean desert.

Mónica Wise Robles is a Colombian-American documentary filmmaker based in Mexico City. Her work focuses on intimate stories of resistance highlighting feminist, LGBTQ+, and indigenous narratives. She has produced work with The Guardian, NYT and the BBC among other outlets. Her first short documentary Lupita, about a Maya massacre survivor, premiered at the Ambulante festival in Mexico, Sheffield Doc/Fest and Doc NYC in 2020, receiving awards from several others. Mónica was a cinematographer on Netflix’s Trials of Gabriel Fernández (2018), Iliana Sosa’s feature What We Leave Behind (2022 SXSW award winner, NYT Critic Pick, and Gotham Awards Nominee for Best Documentary feature), After the Flood (Vice, 2022 Emmy Winner), Niñas // Somos el Fuego (2022, Premio Gabo Winner). She is also the DP of Vena Aquatica, a documentary in production about ecofeminists in El Salvador. She is an IWMF fellow, a Ford Foundation and Sundance Institute grantee, a UC Berkeley Investigative Reporting Program Associate.

I started working as a camerawoman on audiovisual projects for television. Since 2011, I have worked on a variety of socially conscious news coverage and short documentaries for television. During 2012-2013, I worked as a production assistant for “Pachamama”, a 12-program series of short documentaries about the fight for the land between transnational companies and peasant and indigenous communities in 8 countries, produced by TeleSUR. In 2014, I worked on the edition of a 7-program series of short documentaries on the forced disappearance of 43 students from Ayotzinapa Mexico, as well as the political, economic and social implications of this still-unsolved state crime, also produced by TeleSUR. In 2015, I filmed and edited “Taking Power in Tecoanapa”, a 10-minute short documentary on the citizen´s political initiative of setting up a people´s council in the State of Guerrero in México, produced by AJ+. In 2016, I wrote the script of “The Road of Resistance”, a web documentary on the indigenous resistance and the fight for the defense of the land in the southern Mexican state of Chiapas, produced by TeleSUR. I have successfully worked in almost all stages of the production process: pre-production, shooting and editing.

Alicia Fernández is a freelance Mexican visual journalist and producer from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico border with the United States. As a photographer, she was part of the El Diario de Juarez team that was awarded the Maria Moors Cabot Prize in 2011 for their narco violence report in Juarez, Mexico. Her images and visual reports have appeared in media such as Al Jazeera, BBC London, Associated Press, Brut, Verdens Gang, Der Spiegel, among others. Alicia also has been a staff multimedia producer, as well as a photography and video editor for the Spanish newspaper El Pais in its Latin American version. She has been a fixer, field producer and contributor with international media, independent journalists and researchers. Also, she has contributed to training and protection organizations for journalists such as the International Center For Journalists (ICFJ) and Article 19. Also she is a fellow for the International Women's Media Foundation (IWMF). She has worked on independent projects such as The Red Note podcast, as researcher and interviewer. She also works as a consultant for journalistic multimedia projects and workshops instructor. Along with Andalusia K. Soloff had coordinated and created the project: "Fixers, opening paths to global journalism", in order to encourage the local journalism that supports international reporting.

Marian is a Venezuelan documentary photographer, filmmaker, and journalist based in Mexico City, for now. Her work is featured in major outlets such as The New York Times, National Geographic, NPR, Bloomberg, Al Jazeera, among others. She believes that the most powerful work is made at the intersection of art and journalism and is especially drawn to documenting stories that illustrate unseen worlds in Latin America, seeking to tell intimate stories that overcome borders and time, attempting to widen the collective understanding of the region. Marian received her BFA in photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2016 and her master’s degree in Documentary Filmmaking from UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism in 2019. In 2019 she co-directed Irse- Leaving Venezuela, a documentary that tells the story of two expecting mothers seeking safety in Colombia. The film was broadcast by AJ Witness in June of 2020 and screened at festivals nationally and internationally, such as the Sebastopol Documentary Film Festival, Madrid International Film Festival, Houston International Film Festival, and the United Nations Association Film Festival, among others. She has participated in other documentaries both as a DP and producer.

I am a photographer, writer and filmmaker dedicated to telling stories about the changing relationship between people and nature. I am from the United States, but was based in Southeast Asia for the past four years documenting wildlife trafficking and environmental issues, and received a National Geographic Explorers grant there to document the unique relationship between people and elephants in Myanmar. Both my photography and writing have been featured in National Geographic magazine, and I have also contributed to National Geographic Television, The Discovery Channel, and several news agencies.
