EMILIA MELLO (director/producer/photographer) is a Brazilian-American filmmaker raised between West Virginia and São Paulo. She graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University with a degree in Biology and in Latin American Studies. Her first foray into film brought her to black tarp camps of the MST, a communist agrarian reform movement in Brazil. She has since produced for Norwegian reality TV, commercials, and short documentaries as well as for the Oscar nominated documentary film, Wasteland. She is working on her first feature documentary about a peninsula in southeastern Rio state.

Gastón Martínez is an independent filmmaker from Montevideo, Uruguay. At the beginning of his career he makes videos for Unicef New York and Unicef Uruguay and he never stopped shooting. He really enjoyed shooting social videos or documentaries.
