I am a Johannesburg based Filmmaker, Director of Photography (DOP), Multimedia Journalist, Producer and Drone Operator. Over the course of my career I have worked in Europe, the US, the Middle East and Southern Africa with different international organizations including the UN Human Rights Office, Al Jazeera English, Global Citizen, TRT World, Goethe Institut, Vice News on HBO, Bloomberg, Amnesty International, Business Insider and Pacifica Radio. In 2017, together with partner Ntshepeng Motema, I co-founded Seithati Media, an audio-visual storytelling company producing film, video, television, and audio content. Joseph Maramba is a multi-media journalist with over 15 years experience. In his early journalism years he worked as a writer at The Chronicle in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe before moving onto radio at the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Cooperation's Spot FM Radio where he produced and presented various content on Farming, Health and Art. He later moved to a music radio station, ZBC's Power FM in Gweru and hosted a number of artists and authors on his radio shows before moving into Organisational Communications at The Methodist Church in Zimbabwe's Harare office.
