Pablo Figueroa is an international freelance documentary filmmaker and video journalist based in Santiago, Chile. Pablo started his career as a cameraman for Chiles national television station, TVN, in Copiapó During his time at TVN, Pablo also worked on a variety of documentary film projects, including the BBC documentary Chilean Miners: 17 Days Buried Alive. After TVN, Pablo joined the international news agency Reuters in 2011 as a cameraman in Chiles capital, Santiago. With Reuters Pablo produced and edited stories about Chiles student protest movement, earthquakes and other breaking news stories. He is currently freelancing for The Associated Press and other media outlets.

He presents the photographic series "Marginados" that makes people in street situations visible. 2016 is the winner of the international contest "Las obras y los días" with 1st place in the documentary category, with the work "Chiloé este privao" that portrays a great movement of fishermen after suffering an environmental crisis. The catastrophe left 10,000 people without work or a source of food. In 2017, it won the national meeting of the Chilean union of reporters and cameramen. "1st place as best photographer of documentary series, environment category, with the work" Indigenous - Wayuu "series that portrays a family of the indigenous people of Colombia, living in an inhospitable desert near Cerrejón".
