Nick Childers is an Emmy award-winning visual journalist and documentary filmmaker from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He’s the son of a Chilean immigrant and blue-collar Appalachian. He’s the director of the Pittsburgh chapter of the Video Consortium and a member of NPPA, Storyhunter, Press Club of Western Pennsylvania, Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council, and Associated Artists of Pittsburgh. Nick works independently as a freelance visual journalist, camera operator, director, producer, local fixer and multi-media editor for a variety of editorial and commercial clients.
