David Bernabo is a filmmaker, musician, dancer, visual artist, and writer, performing with the bands Host Skull and How Things Are Made; devising dances with his variable dance company, MODULES; and often collaborating with Maree ReMalia | merrygogo. He curates and produces work for the Ongoing Box imprint and co-curates the Lightlab Performance Series with slowdanger. Brenda Giraldo began working in Charlotte, NC as a dancer, choreographer, and teaching artist sharing her Latin American culture through dance. A 2007 graduate of Queens University of Charlotte with a B.A. in Art Studio/Art History and a minor in Spanish, Brenda continued to perform, teach, and create works of art across the Carolinas and surrounding east coast areas. She received hands on training and professional development during her employment at the Children’s Theatre of Charlotte, adding drama and storytelling to her artist repertoire. Her performance and teaching credits include: Children’s Theatre of Charlotte, Wolf Trap Education Institute, Ballet Folklórico Las Americas, The Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, the Afro-American Cultural Center, and the Latin American Women’s Association to name a few. In the summer of 2015 Brenda relocated to Pittsburgh, Pa where she focused on painting, and furthering her performing arts training. She completed several commissioned works of art, including 2 large scale murals for local businesses, performed improv shows at the Steel City Improv Theater, and attended classes at the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and the Millennium Dance Complex. In the spring of 2019, she joined the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust education team as a teaching artist and in the fall helped devise and perform a staged show based on the literary works of Edgar Allen Poe for the TrustArts Poetry Project. At heart she is a multi-disciplined artist and educator who enjoys the daily opportunity of helping audiences explore their creativity and learn through storytelling and the arts.

Razi Jafri is a Detroit-based multimedia journalist, documentary photographer and filmmaker whose work focuses on ethnicity, religion, culture, immigration, democracy, and the changing cultural landscape in America. His current projects include a documentary film called Hamtramck, USA which explores democracy in a small industrial town in the American midwest. Another film called Loyalty, which follows the story of three Muslim chaplains in the US military. He is also currently working on a long term documentary photography project called "Halal Metropolis" which explores Muslim visibility and identity in Southeast Michigan. The work is part of an interdisciplinary exhibition series by the same name that is currently being shown and scheduled to show at multiple sites and galleries across the Metro Detroit region. Razi attended the University of Michigan-Dearborn, and received a Bachelor's degree in engineering and worked as an engineer for many years but made a major career change to pursue documentary work and journalism. Razi's work has been featured in National Geographic, National Public Radio, the Detroit Free Press and Michigan Radio. He was previously a fellow in the Documenting Detroit Fellowship in documentary photography and photojournalism. Most recently he was named a member of the New York Foundation for the Arts Immigrants Artists Mentorship Program.
