Derek is a freelance video producer based out of Long Beach, CA. His creative journey began in the US Navy as the command photographer for USS Howard (DDG 83) a guided-missile destroyer. While onboard he engaged in documenting such activities as hunting submarines, foreign government training exercises, and volunteer work in underprivileged communities abroad. Beginning in 2017 he began his freelance career back stateside working with local wineries and small businesses in the bay area while completing his bachelor's degree in Radio, TV, and Film from San Jose State University. While in college he won awards for Best Cinematography and Scriptwriting for films he produced for college film festivals. His freelance career started to pick up speed in 2018 when he signed with Silicon Valley Clean Energy as their content creator, from 2020-2021 they completed a first of its kind, 5-hour training course on home electrification, serving as a tool to educate contractors and homeowners about living the all-electric lifestyle. Brian Inocencio was born and raised in Taiwan. He moved to to Vancouver, Canada when he was thirteen on his own. He developed interest in film photography and was heavily involved in outdoor activities such as backcountry snowboarding, skim boarding, surfing, rock climbing, and camping at a very young age. He was part of the first fifteen rugby team and played on the clubs team on the weekends. He’s always documenting his journey through the camera he had at the time. Presently, he is an award winning documentary filmmaker and cinematographer who has worked on documentary film projects for BBC, PBS, Discovery, Al Jazeera+, Netflix, POV American Documentary, Peacock, 60 Second Docs, The Economist, CNBC, Business Insider, and Bloomberg Digital. His documentary short, Alex, was awarded best documentary at Long Island International Film Expo, shortlisted for the 2017 BAFTA Student Film Awards, and was part of the official selection for 60 Second Docs. Brian has recently worked as a Director of Photography for PBS Series called Historian’s Take, and a feature length documentary film called The Hidden Wounds, and a food series exploring LA’s Chinese cuisine, Boiling Pot, In early 2020, Brian was a Director of Photography for the Chinese Historical Society of America, We Are Bruce Lee, a documentary short that will be part of the museum's new exhibit. In 2018 he was an additional cinematographer on Andrew Zimmern’s food show and was a digital imaging technician on a documentary project, Becoming, an intimate story with the former first lady Michelle Obama. Brian has also worked as a cinematographer and programmer at POV American Documentary. In late 2017, he was an additional cinematographer for a feature length documentary film, Dykes, Camera, Action!, and a second camera operator for the show Talk Stoop, George to The Rescue, Open House, and 1st Look. Before embarking on his career as a documentary cinematographer, he worked in the medical field and was a part of an interdisciplinary team in the Brain Injury Unit working as a physical therapy assistant. At the time, he met some of the toughest people battling their injuries, and one in particular was a young man name Alex. He had just graduated college and had his entire life ahead of him, but a mistake of not fastening his seatbelt completely changed his life. They became friends. He had inspired Brian to follow his gut. And that is to become a documentary filmmaker and cinematographer. Fast forward two years, he made a short film about him “Alex”, and it jump started his storytelling career. Brian holds a MFA in Social Documentary Film from the School of Visual Arts and a Bachelor degree in Biology from Hunter College CUNY in New York City.

Bret Hamilton, born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, has always been passionate about creating captivating entertainment for those around him. Pursuing this passion, he left his hometown to study cinematography at Columbia College Chicago. In September 2016, Bret moved to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (formerly Saigon). There, he served as the Digital Content Director for local media start-up Vietcetera, producing and directing numerous short documentaries. He later became the Director of Photography for the Webby-winning Best Ever Food Review Show, where he scaled the visual and editorial direction of the channel from 300k subscribers to 3.5 million, earning almost half a billion views from a diverse, global audience. In the fall of 2019, Bret relocated to Los Angeles, bringing his unique skills and experience to a new market of brands, digital outlets, and content creators. When the pandemic hit, Bret adapted seamlessly, transitioning to virtual production as a Technical Director for commercial and documentary shoots operated entirely over Zoom. Music is one of my biggest passions. I have written songs with Linkin Park and FKi 1st (one of hip hop's biggest producers), opened shows for Green Day and Twenty One Pilots, and have had one of my songs go RIAA certified gold. Cinematography started as a flirtation (a way to kick start my band) but over the years it has become a passion equally as large as music. I have worked with some of the biggest names in the business such as Nike, HyperloopTT, Palm Springs, Charlie Rocket, Vero, Bosch, Troye Sivan, Brat, Fashion Nova, and Ableton.
