Over the past 20 years, I have a flawless track record producing, directing and editing content with world class creative agencies, television and film production companies and Fortune 500 companies which include Yahoo! Over the past several years, Jon collaborated with Oscar and Emmy award winning filmmakers on many independent projects.  He was a producer and DP on the feature documentary film, Beyond Laughter and Tears, released in March of 2016 directed by Oscar award winner Doug Blush.  Jon's past experience includes working as a director, producer, DP and editor at Yahoo!.  Jon played a hands-on, key role in establishing Yahoo! as a forerunner in original online video productions.  This was Yahoo’s first step into original TV style series (webisodes) productions.  He directed, edited and produced 5 original webisode series while at Yahoo! focusing on topics such as travel, lifestyle, subcultures, music, news, and politics.  He's worked with TV hosts Bill Maher, Charlie Rose and Richard Bangs.  Jon's last project at Yahoo! was creating a video profile of the President of the United States in the White House Roosevelt Room.  It was the first time in history a sitting president conducted an interview solely for the internet.  This project was a tremendous success and received international attention and millions of video streams. In 1998, Jon was a video producer for the world’s first e-commerce website with broadcast film footage.  The company was acquired by Getty Film in 2000.  He has also produced, directed and edited several short films.

From Mar 2006-Dec '06 I worked as the assignment editor, coordinating reporters' stories and planning news coverage throughout the day and long-term. Arin Yoon (she/her) is a Korean American documentary photographer and visual artist based in the Kansas City area. Her work focuses on the military community and the impacts of war, displacement, notions of family, women and issues of identity and representation. Arin is a National Geographic Explorer, a We, Women Photo artist, and an International Women's Media Foundation fellow. She is a member of Women Photograph and Diversify Photo and an alumna of the Eddie Adams Workshop and the Missouri Photo Workshop. Her work has been featured in National Geographic, The Washington Post, Reuters, NPR, ProPublica, Bloomberg Businessweek, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, among other publications. Don Shepard (USA b.1959) is an award winning photographer living and working in the United States. He's a visionary and an explorer. A photographer of people, places and things. He's rapt with the desire to create honest imagery that transcends time. Educated in forensic and medico-legal photography, Don developed his craft during a career as a law enforcement detective, producing thousands of images used in the prosecution of violent crimes. ​ He retired in 2009. ​ Don is a vetted member of the Kansas City chapter of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) and the Chicago chapter of the American Photographic Artists (APA), both of which hold their members to the highest creative and professional standards. I have a degree in Graphic Design from Iowa State but I fell in love with the camera my second year of college.
