The dawn of the digital era has passed. We’re getting close to mid-morning now. Content is king and video is par for the course for brands, advertisers, media and publishers alike. Venice Is a a documentary film maker and photographer from the Philippines. Since she was little, stories has been a way for her to encounter life. From those told by grandmother about their province of origin to the ones by the people she meets and eventually films, the spoken words, and shared images builds bridges for her to the world of others. She graduated from the University of the Philippines Film Institute in 2012. In 2015 - 2017, she was accepted into the 4th Edition of the Doc Nomads Joint Masters in Documentary Film Directing which takes place in Lisbon, Budapest and Brussels. She currently resides in Manila, Philippines where she is completing her first film; “Under the Stars”-- which was funded by the IDFA Bertha Fund Classic. She is also producing the film “Xixi” by Taiwanese director, Fan Wu.
