Shravan Vidyarthi is the founder of Intersect, a global video and photo production company. We make it easy for corporations and nonprofits to tell great stories anywhere in the world. Charlie V Rose is a BAFTA nominated director and DOP based in Kenya. He started his career in Edinburgh as a cinematographer in 2014, shooting Scottish short film ‘Grout Pray’, and shot a tv pilot starring Liam Neeson called ‘Life in Black’. Charlie then turned his focus to directing and writing when he moved to London, where he was hired as in-house Director at Stink’s newly formed content division. Charlie used his experience and love of the Highlands to create films for Johnnie Walker and Mercedes, shot on location in some of the most stunning areas of Scotland. After the stint at Stink Studios, Charlie cycled 8000km up Africa, through 9 countries, exploring the lives and experiences of African Rangers and Poachers on the front-line of the war on poaching and raising £50,000 for Ranger welfare in the process. Since returning he started the London wing of LA formed content studio ‘Stadium’, www.stvdium.com, and then left to become a Director for Edinburgh based Campfire Agency. He has recently created an exhibition in New York about the impact of Covid in Kenya, a short film starring Dave Johns of 'I Daniel Blake'. Since moving to Kenya he has directed commercials for Safaricom, ABSA and Adidas, as well as documentary projects for Red Bull and Voice of America.

I am a visual storyteller, having studied journalism at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication, with specific focus on Film Production. The ability to bring visual stories to life excites me a lot, this passion leading me to working with leading media houses in Kenya, this includes a stint with the national broadcaster KBC and K24 TV, as a camera operator and video editor. Most recently, I worked for the leading media development organization in Kenya, Internews Network, as TV trainer where I was responsible for training and mentoring of journalists and assisting journalists with production of high quality, factual stories. I have since gained valuable experience by being exposed to technical, theoretical and practical aspects of journalism, always being driven by a strong desire to effect change in the world by producing visually strong, compelling and factual stories. I have over time used my expertise to tell different stories in multimedia that connect with the audience in an emotional honest way, stories that have in turn had a great impact in the communities they were told from. I currently work as a freelance Multimedia production specialist, a videographer, a photojournalist and a media consultant and also a partner at Zulani Ltd, a digital media company (www.zulani.tv).

MWANIKI NJACHE- SHORT BIO Nick Njache is a Kenyan Director, Screenwriter, Actor and Producer in a career spanning almost two decades, he has had the great opportunity to work in both international and local productions including working as an assistant director (Kenya) for the award-winning international production “The Constant Gardner”, “Africa Mon Amour” and “Die Patriachen” for German televions. His Kenyan directorial full feature film debut “By Any Means Necessary” won Best Actress in The Kenya International Film Festival. His short film “Victim?” was nominated for best short film in the Kalasha Film Festival 2009. He directed the movie “Kidnapped” which premiered in Kenyan Theatres on the 6th of July 2017; Kidnapped was nominated for 7 awards and won best script in the Kalasha Film Festival of 2018. He has directed numerous TV commercials and TV series, full seasons like Mashtaka for Citizen TV, Mwangaza for KTN and many directorial cameos in several others. He directs for the stage and has worked as an actor/director/writer in numerous stage productions. In 2019 he won a space for a mentorship program with Docubox Kenya and directed “My Friend Ngige” a documentary on mental health. My name is Samuel Munia, a Kenyan, trained and accredited journalist. I produce, film and edit news, features and documentaries.
