I am an editorial photographer and DP/cinematographer specializing in the fields of portrait photography, feature, and video production storytelling, but my background is a bit contradictory to my creative career. Despite my devotion to visual storytelling for more than a decade, I graduated with a degree in Biological Chemistry with a focus in Neuroscience from Grinnell College. Hi, my name is Nick Clausen and I am a digital filmmaker from St. Paul, Minnesota. I started working in television news 20 years ago, and now I shoot and edit documentaries. Stories that are meaningful to me usually have a social element to them. I'm currently following a light-rail construction project that is tearing apart a neighborhood in Saint Paul. Coming from a news background there is a freedom to creating my own documentaries: it gives me time to tell a story in-depth, and allows me to create an intimacy with my characters, so in return, the audience will connect with the characters as well.

Ben Garvin is freelance documentary filmmaker and certified drone pilot based in Minneapolis. He's worked for VICE, PBS NewsHour, Kartemquin, Atlantic Pictures and many other documentary and news crews. He's earned numerous national honors, including multiple Murrow Awards and the Alfred I. duPont Award for his acclaimed film feature documentary Love Them First (www.lovethemfirst.com), now available on Amazon Prime. Garvin started his career as a still photographer working for newspapers on the east coast and freelancing for the New York Times and the AP in New York City. He met his wife out east and she convinced to move to Minnesota where Garvin worked for the Pioneer Press newspaper and KARE11 (NBC affiliate). He grew up in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where he studied creative writing at the University of Arkansas and went on to earned a BFA in Visual Journalism from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. He lives in South Minneapolis with wife Jessica and four kids Arthur, Lewis, Netta and Bailey.

Fábio Erdos is a Brazilian documentary filmmaker and photographer member of Panos Pictures, one of the world's leading independent and award-winning photographic agencies. In 2019, Fábio won a World Press Photo award for the film "Marielle and Monica", produced for The Guardian, and in 2021 he was invited to serve as a jury member for the World Press Photo Digital Storytelling Contest. His films have been shown at several festivals, like GLAAD (New York), One World Media (UK), La Gacilly Photo Festival (France), the Museum of Tomorrow, the Museum of Modern Art (Rio de Janeiro), and he was shortlisted for the IDA Documentary Awards. ​ Previous to his film and photography career, Fábio worked for the international non-profit ActionAid for many years, where he gained experience in grassroots work on poverty and social inequality. During this time he worked in rural communities in Northeast Brazil, a region that suffers from one of the worst droughts in the last 50 years, in Haiti, a year after the devastating earthquake of 2010, and in the rural communities of Mozambique. Rachel Lauren Mueller is a documentary director, journalist and cinematographer from the Colorado mountains whose stories focus on themes of power, identity and rural life. With her background in investigative journalism and anthropology, she creates films that interrogate power structures while embracing expansive imagination. Rachel’s work has been featured in Al Jazeera Arabic, The New York Times, PBS, Yale Climate Connections and Berkeleyside and her films have been supported by the International Documentary Association, Berkeley FILM Foundation, the Minnesota State Arts Board and the Metropolitan Regional Council for the Arts. Most recently, her film 8 DAYS AT WARE, supported by the IF/Then Shorts Distribution fellowship, was awarded the Reva and David Logan Prize for Investigative Reporting and Best Short Documentary at the Wyoming International Film Festival. Georgia Fort is a two time Emmy nominated Media Producer and Television Correspondent. Her reporting has been published on CNN, ABC, NBC, Fox and CBS affiliates. Her mission as a storyteller is to amplify truth, inspire, inform and agitate change. Most recently she produced a short documentary “George Floyd: It Happened Here”, which amplifies the voices of individuals who are from the neighborhood where George Floyd was killed. Prior to that Fort, co-directed and edited the award winning documentary “Rondo: Beyond the Pavement” which is no available on Amazon Prime. Outside of media, she’s in the process of changing maternity leave laws in Minnesota after losing her job as an anchor because she wasn’t eligible for FMLA. A true advocate for change, the Minnesota native has over a decade of broadcast experience that spans from public radio government television to national commercial television broadcasting. As a journalist she publicly explored her passion for philanthropy and community involvement by a giving a visual platform to the stories and individuals that continuously shape her community. Her coverage of a controversial officer involved shooting was nominated for an Emmy and received honorable mention by the Southeast Chapter of the National Academy of Television. Before her promotion as an anchor, Georgia was the court and crime reporter for the ABC and Fox affiliates in Columbus, GA where she covered gruesome murder trials and uncovered a series of investigative pieces. Georgia graduated from the University of St. Thomas where she advocated for student parents and diversity inclusion. She has three daughters and is married to boxing gym owner and professional boxer, Cerresso Fort. In 2007, after her oldest daughter passed away, she became an Ambassador for Faith’s Lodge, a non-profit that provides wellness retreats for parents who have lost a child. Internally, her resilience is the catalyst that allows her to continuously reshape her own narrative as she outwardly advocates to change the narrative for the black community.
