My name is Santi Carneri (La Plata, Argentina, 1987). I'am a freelance journalist, photographer and videographer based in Paraguay since 2013. I combine personal long-term projects with editorial assignments in photo, text, audio and vídeo from international clients. I was born in Argentina but I grew up in Spain. I have both nationalities: Argentine and Spanish. I have worked as a reporter, fixer, producer and photographer for The New York Times, Associated Press (AP), The Guardian, El País, Univision, Deustche Welle, Al Jazzera and BBC, among many others companies, brands and media. Before been a freelancer, I started my carrier as a local reporter and photographer in Madrid. And then as a junior correspondent for EFE/EPA (European Press Agency) in Spain, Brazil and then in Paraguay. In 2020 I was nominated for the Gabo Prize for Journalism in the Image category for my documentary short film "Sin Condena", which combines photography and video to show the injustice that exists in Paraguayan prisons. In 2015, Amnesty International Paraguay gave the honor to receive the Peter Benenson Award for Journalism Commited with Human Rights. My photos have been exhibetd in Spain, Paraguay, Guatemala and Colombia. And I'm the creator and edtior of the photo colective Everyday Paraguay that shows the work of paraguayan artists all over the world. I hold a degree in Journalism from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Spain). I speak spanish, english, portuguese and a bit of guaraní.

Jaime Alekos (Madrid, 1985) is an international award-winning freelance filmmaker, cinematographer and war correspondant. In 2020 he was nominated to the Goya award for the Best Short Documentary for The European Dream: Serbia, an investigative documentary he produced, directed, wrote, shot and edited about the tortures of Hungarian police to the migrants they catch trying to cross their border. For the same work, he also received an Award of Excellence in the 75th edition of the Pictures of the Year International Awards, the oldest visual journalism competition in the world, and more than 20 awards in international film festivals. His coverage of the migration crisis in Europe has been broadcasted in all major Spanish TV channels and his footage of October 1 in Barcelona has been featured by Netflix and the BBC.
