Derek is a freelance video producer based out of Long Beach, CA. His creative journey began in the US Navy as the command photographer for USS Howard (DDG 83) a guided-missile destroyer. While onboard he engaged in documenting such activities as hunting submarines, foreign government training exercises, and volunteer work in underprivileged communities abroad.
