Amid these defining moments, I've also dedicated myself to unearthing the truth. Following the cataclysmic explosion at the Port of Beirut on August 4th, I've meticulously chronicled its reverberations, capturing the resilience and strength of the Lebanese people. My commitment to frontline reporting during the Arab Spring in Egypt was recognized with a prestigious nomination for the Rory Peck awards. In 2019, I was bestowed the honor of the Bronze Telly Award for my unwavering documentation of immigration issues in the United States and Mexico, a testament to my dedication to storytelling. In my role, I directly collaborate with clients, ushering their video projects from conception to fruition. My responsibilities encompass the entire spectrum of production, from envisioning and strategizing to scripting, storyboarding, crew coordination, and shooting. Hello there! My name is Spencer Bruttig and I am a Washington, D.C. based film producer, DOP and editor. I came out to DC from the SF Bay Area to help start a new documentary and podcast production company (Tegna and Vault Studios) but most recently joined Google as an in-house creative producer working on their marketing team. I am also the Cinematographer on the D.C. based narrative series "Anacostia," as well as the Baltimore Comedy series "Thespian." I am also the DP on the new reality television show "City Boyz DC." CUTTER HODIERNE is a documentary cinematographer. He has also worked as an award-winning feature film director. His debut feature film FISHING WITHOUT NETS, a story of pirates in Somalia told from the perspective of the pirates, won 'Best Director' at the Sundance Film Festival and was called "Sundance's most beautiful film" by The Wrap. Enrique Huaiquil is a Chilean-American award-winning cinematographer, photojournalist, documentary photographer, video editor, and graphic artist based in Northern Virginia. He has covered a wide variety of issues, including the Central American caravans trying to cross the U.S.-Mexico border, the aftermath of the earthquake in Puerto Rico, white supremacy in America, COVID-19 intensive care units, and immigration detention centers. Farhan Alam, has been in the film and television industry for over 16 years. He has worked as a cinematographer, director, and editor on many award-winning programs. Recently his feature film, Sawaan, was Pakistan’s official entry to the 90th Academy Awards in the foreign film category. With a strong visual eye and a creative mind, I approach storytelling like a puzzle. How can I bring this to life? How can I take a simple idea and give it a voice and a vision?
