I'm passionate about all media production and enjoy the complete process of creating unique and captivating content. Having studied and worked in the UK, I moved back to South Africa to work for the German Public Broadcaster ZDF at the 2010 Fifa World Cup. This was my foot into the local media industry and soon found myself working across a spectrum of programs. As a Production Manager, I oversaw more than 1000 hours of broadcasted TV across various SABC shows and multiple digital news platforms. My position in television advanced into creatively producing sponsored and editorial content for the 2017 SAFTA award-winning Expresso morning show on SABC3. This role developed into directing my own concepts and I was asked to move over as full-time insert director for Expresso specialising in community, conservation, correctional services. CSI, travel, and conscious content. My journey took me away from terrestrial TV and I joined the online positive news platform; Beautiful News @ Ginkgo Agency. Since 2020 I have been freelancing and enjoyed producing/directing a string of international concepts from Germany, the USA, Canada, the South African part of an ongoing global British series, and some local Tv and Online productions. My work spans nearly two decades of broadcast television and web experience, and ranges from documentary series to commercials. I’ve conducted countless interviews over the years, with luminaries such as Annie Lennox, Joanne Leffson, Francois Pienaar, and Dylan Lewis. I am a video journalist, camera operator and editor based out Cape Town, South Africa. I have recently gone freelance after working as a video journalist with the BBC's flagship business programme on the continent, 'Africa Business Report'. During my time with this international broadcaster I was responsible for shooting and editing news pieces for the business programme. In addition to filming and editing the separate elements of the show I was also responsible for shooting links and editing the programme. Kristen van Schie is a director and editor from South Africa. Before her shift to film, she worked for ten years as an award-winning journalist, filing dispatches in both her home country and across Africa. Her first short film The Summer Before Seventh Grade (2021) premiered at Dok Leipzig; Landscape (2021) premiered shortly after at FIPADOC in Biarritz and is currently part of the European Film Factory short film programme. Kristen was part of the research team behind Influence, the first South African feature documentary to premiere at Sundance. Most recently, she edited four episodes of the true-crime series Privaatspeurders and worked as an assistant editor on director Simon Wood’s current work-in-progress, Untamed. Kristen has a masters degree in creative documentary directing from the mobile film school DocNomads.

Charlie Luckock is an award-winning documentary filmmaker who works on a freelance basis. Charlie has produced and directed films for numerous international broadcasters including National Geographic, the Discovery Channel, Smithsonian Earth, Love Nature and CGTN. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Zoology Charlie moved to the documentary hub of Bristol. Over 5 years he honed his skills under the guidance of some of the best producers, directors and execs in the industry. In 2015 Charlie’s time in Bristol culminated with him producing and directing WILD INDONESIA for National Geographic. In 2017 Charlie directed his first feature documentary NIGERIA’S LOST GENERATION, which premiered internationally on CGTN and won the Best International Documentary award at Jozi Film Festival. Charlie went on to direct FAR FROM HOME, winning the Outstanding Documentary award at the Abuja International Film Festival. In 2019 Charlie directed OUR OCEANS, a feature documentary exploring the industrial threats facing the South African coastline. The film has been screened around the world and continues to spread awareness about the conditions of our oceans. Charlie has just finished his latest film THE EDGE OF EXISTENCE – a feature documentary on human-wildlife conflict. Anton started his career in 2013 as a freelance photojournalist and documentary photographer but found himself increasingly drawn toward the moving image. After some time spent assisting on film sets, as well as filming projects of his own, he began working as a cinematographer. His current filmography consists of documentaries, narrative films, commercials, music videos and experimental work. Tina-Louise Smith has worked in television and video since 1999. She has worked as researcher, writer, director, editor and producer on various productions. In 2006 - 2010 she was co-founder of Free Range Films. In 2010 she stepped out on her own to found Accidental Films and TV. From 2012 - 2014 she was Head Producer at Cape Town Community TV. Through Accidental Films and TV, Tina-Louise was Producer-Director on a 48' made for TV commissioned documentary, Mr Table Tennis. Mr Table Tennis had its world premiere at the 18th Encounters South African International Documentary Festival in 2016, where it was awarded the bronze audience award for best South African documentary. She also produced and directed Engender, a 3-part feminist TV show for Cape Town TV. Engender was broadcast during the 16 Days of Activism Against Violence Against Women in 2015. PRODUCER PROFILE Jac Williams completed his studies in film in 2005 where after he freelanced on big budget commercials and mini series, working as behind-the-scenes cameraman and chaperone. He joined MMAP in 2008. He has directed and produced numerous documentaries, corporate videos and educational and marketing audio-visuals. In 2012 Jac has worked as both producer and director on “It’s Africa’s Time”, one of CNBC Africa’s flagship documentary series. The show documents socio-economic upliftment and sustainable development through inclusive business in Africa. Jac wrapped Ferdinand van Zyl’s military drama feature film, The Recce, (2016) & Harold Holscher’s Eight (The Soul Collector in the States) in 2018. Released in the USA in 2020. The Recce was selected at 7 International film festivals in the past year and was nominated with DOP Jacques van Tonder for debut feature film cinematography at Camerimage (2018) in Poland. The Recce won best foreign feature film at Idyllwild International Film Festival in California (2019) and was awarded a Silver Remi award at the 52th Annual Worldfest in Houston (2019). Eight had a World Premiere in Montreal at Fantasia International Film Festival and is currently being distributed in 9 World Territories including the USA, Germany and Russia and on Netflix for Africa. He wrapped & co-produced Agulhas Shortfilm in Arniston for Jacques Naude in 2017 and produced Juweeldiewe (2014), Jan Umkwetha (2015) & Benjamin (2018) shortfilms for the Silwerskerm Festival in South Africa. Jac also co-produced two game shows for the legendary TV Game- show brand Atari in 2017 named “Player Up” & “Codebreaker”.
