My work spans nearly two decades of broadcast television and web experience, and ranges from documentary series to commercials. I’ve conducted countless interviews over the years, with luminaries such as Annie Lennox, Joanne Leffson, Francois Pienaar, and Dylan Lewis. I've produced and directed scores of documentary and corporate web adverts and marketing videos over the years. When I'm not wearing my director or DP hat, I'm also editing. Some of the brands I’ve worked with include Greencape, Acciona, CNN, Kelloggs, Panasonic and The Weather Channel. Although I never left the camera, my formative years was as a top commercial and documentary editor, having edited on award winning shows like Carte Blanche, Top Billing and documentary series, Ruk en Riel. Chris is a filmmaker focused on documentaries, online-based short format storytelling, compelling music videos. His video art work has been exhibited at the Tate Modern and his music videos as Director and DOP has been on display at London’s Museum of Design and Dublin Museum of Modern Art Chris clients include Spotify (short doc exploring Amapiano's homage to Kwaito), Boiler Room UK (directing and editing a multipart cross-continental collaboration celebrating African and diaspora cultures in music, and dance and narrative), Red Bull Media (Directing, DOP and editing a feature documentary tracing the indigenous roots of Cape Towns Hip Hop movement), Euronews, OkayAfrica, Hypebeast, NTS and Vox amongst others. Chris worked as the Director of Photography and Editor on the award-winning feature documentary Not in my Neighbourhood looking at issues of gentrifications across three continents. I'm a Cape-Town based filmmaker and photographer, with over twelve years experience as a free-lancer. My endless curiosity drives my motivation of capturing the essence of the many incredible humans we have in this world, whether it be through portraiture, or documentary films. I am a video journalist, camera operator and editor based out Cape Town, South Africa. I have recently gone freelance after working as a video journalist with the BBC's flagship business programme on the continent, 'Africa Business Report'. During my time with this international broadcaster I was responsible for shooting and editing news pieces for the business programme. In addition to filming and editing the separate elements of the show I was also responsible for shooting links and editing the programme. I also shot and edited stories for daily news coverage, features as well as online specific pieces. I am also a qualified diving instructor and am able to offer underwater filming including gear. I have worked extensively across the continent including Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Liberia, The Gambia, Ethiopia, Madagascar and elsewhere. Working in Africa in often trying conditions I have developed strong resourcefulness and can work effectively and calmly under pressure.

Gianluigi Guercia is a photographer and video maker based in South Africa. He has been working on the African Continent since 2003. His work has been published and exhibited widely. Born in Naples, he moved first to Rome and then from 2003 to Africa where for more than a decade he has practiced documentary photography, working mainly for News Agencies and International publications. From 2005 to 2020 he was a staff photographer and then Southern Africa manager for Agence France-Presse. He covered extensively the Arab Spring from 2011 to 2013. His photographs have been used in books and have been part of exhibition worldwide. He obtained a Three Years master degree in Photography at the ISFCI (Istituto Superiore di Fotografia e comunicazione integrate) in Rome. He has a bachelor’s degree in Political Sciences obtained at Federico II University in Naples. From 2019 onward he is focused on pursuing his personal narrative, mainly focused on the human condition. Between 2012 and 2013, he completed an essay on Cairo where together with Tripoli, lived for 2 years. In 2020, two of his projects have been shortlisted for the 9th contemporary African Photography Prize.

My name is Chad Nathan and I am a 27-year-old digital nomad with a wild passion for travel, adventure, and storytelling through the lens of a camera. I graduated with a degree of a Bachelor of Commerce in Intrapreneurial Management and an Honours degree in Strategic Brand Management. The knowledge I gained from this helped me launch my business Wild Ginga, which has brought me to over 32 countries across the world. I have been able to immerse myself in many different cultures, helping to bring people together one frame at a time. I have over 26,000 followers on Instagram and 37,000 on Tik Tok and this has led me to learn a few things about the game and the hustle of social media. With over 8 years of experience in photography, videography, and social media, Wild Ginga was brought to life specialising in short, impactful, and captivating content for small screens. While shooting content is a huge part of what I do, editing it is just as important. I pride myself on my meticulous and efficient editing skills that my clients can attest to. Over the last few months I have leveraged my influence on Instagram to help raise over $36,000 for people in need during the Corona Virus pandemic. I did this through partnering with many different non-profits and creating content for them for free in these desperate times. Like flotsam and jetsam Erol has spent much his his life adrift. Hailing from a long family of mariners the oceans and ocean lore have been a constant in his life from an early age. Over the years he has built up a career that has embraced his passion for the seas, encompassing marine science, remote technology, manned submersibles and technical diving. More recently he has merged his love for the oceans and ocean people with his joy in visual story telling, making films that focus on social justice and environmental issues. Erol has been privileged to see a fraction of what the oceans have to offer.
