Rick Minnich is an American independent filmmaker based in Berlin, Germany. He holds a B.A. in English from Columbia University and an MFA equivalent in film directing from the Film University Babelsberg "Konrad Wolf” in Germany. Rick Minnich has been writing, directing and producing shorts and feature documentaries since 1993 through his companies Rickfilms and Our Man in Berlin, and in association with various German broadcasters, film funds, and production companies. Born in Görlitz, raised in the eastern part of Berlin. Starting with photography, my passion has always been capturing what I see. Framing a shot is still the best. I did a three-year training at the film archives and learned everything about "real" film. Afterwards I studied Audio-Visual Media in Berlin and did my Diploma in Camera in 2009. Since then my fascination for creating moving images has taken me all around the world. Together with two friends and over the course of almost five years I successfully ran my own film production company focusing on commercials, brand-videos and portraits. In 2016 I left Kings&Kongs Filmproduktion to go back to my roots enjoying life as a DoP freelancer again. I still work closely together with www.kingsandkongs.de I love to work in both fields of documentaries and advertisments. My heart belongs to the beauty of nature, and my heart belongs to people & their stories. With my own professional equipment I like to travel a lot even to the most remote places in the world. Linda Paganelli is a visual anthropologist and filmmaker. Her primary areas of interest are human rights in war zones, the relationship between power and minorities, refugees and migrants, history of art and contemporary art. Her work is deeply rooted in her anthropological background and seeks to analyse and deconstruct existing ideas around values and stereotypes. After completing with honours her Bachelor Degree in Social Studies at the Alma Mater Studiorum in Bologna (Italy) she moved to London where she specialized in Visual Anthropology following a Master Degree at Goldsmiths. She worked, since 2009, as Freelance director mainly on short and long documentaries for TVs, production companies, magazines online, NGOs campaigns, art galleries, universities, and newspaper online. She has worked in conflict zones like Afghanistan and Palestine/Israel and on sensitive issues in Europe (specially United Kingdom and Italy) and Nicaragua where she gained access to dangerous places and ‘hard to reach’ social groups, found incredible stories, and delivered great videos in content and visual. Adriana Berroterán is a cinematographer originally hailing from Venezuela and currently based in Berlin. She began her career in the audiovisual world in 2007 and she’s an active member of The ICF+C, Apertura DOP, Free The Work and Sporas. Since 2021 Adriana is part of the jury board (music video and cinematography categories) of the D&AD Awards, the most prestigious benchmark for creative excellence in design and advertising. Her portfolio combines beautifully crafted shots full of poetry and mystery. She feels a deep attraction for the taboo, the forbidden, the mystical and the human body, which she considers tools of liberation and self-knowledge. Her creative interest lies in intersectionality and challenging the aesthetic parameters imposed by a society that lives in the framework of heteronormativity. Adriana’s experience comes from TV series, short films, commercials, music videos, live music festivals and documentaries in several countries such as Mexico, Germany, Austria, USA and Argentina. Some of her most notable work includes being Camera Operator for TV shows for Netflix and HBO Max, projects developed in Mexico. In 2008 she completed a film production course in Altos de Chavón School of Design in Dominican Republic. From 2009 to 2011, she studied Direction of Photography and colorimetry at the Training Center of the Argentine Film Industry Union CFP SICA. In March 2011 she was selected to participate in the Talent Campus Buenos Aires in collaboration with The Berlin Film Festival - Berlinale Talent Campus. Adriana won the Best Cinematography Award for the Short Film ‘Hysteria’ at Sappho Film Festival UK 2021 and the Best Music Video for ‘3 & Hoy’ at Buenos Aires International Fashion Film Fest 2021. Additionally, some of her projects are official selection of several Film Festivals in the US and across Europe.

Ben Jones is a documentary filmmaker from Belfast, Northern Ireland now based in Berlin, Germany. Ben has worked as a self producer/director, cameraman and editor in the industry for over ten years.
