His documentary short, Piano Craftman, was awarded Best Director at the 2020 Madrid Art Film Festival and will screen at the BIG SKY Documentary Festival in 2021. In 2020, Scott worked as a cinematographer across the Netflix series (Un)Well and Hulu’s Taste the Nation. Scott was also a Director of Photography on Netflix's Explained and in 2019 he was the Director of Photography on Whiter Shade of Terror, a film about the the global spread of anti-muslim rhetoric and an increasingly violent white supremacy movement, which aired in 28 countries. In late 2018, Scott was a producer on the USA production of the Unanswered Ives documentary which was awarded the Czech Crystal for “Best Documentary Dedicated to Music, Dance and Theater” at the 2019 Golden Prague Film Festival. Samantha Schutz is a Director of Photography, Producer and Editor working across independent and commercial projects, from feature documentaries to network shows, web series, and children’s television.
