I am a documentary filmmaker and visual anthropologist based between Rio and Porto. I have more than 15 years' experience as a film/video editor, director/director assistant, image curator, and researcher. In 2010, I have founded my own audiovisual company through which I am commissioned as a freelance filmmaker. My 1st documentary The Way I See Today was awarded the Richard Werbner Award for Visual Ethnography and it is now part of the Ethnocineca Film Series at the Weltmuseum Wien. I have an MPhil in Ethnographic Documentary and I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Social Anthropology with Visual Media at the Granada Centre for Visual Anthropology, University of Manchester. I am used to working as a sole trader and as a team leader. Proficient in Avid, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Lightroom, Illustrator, and Office applications. Multilingual in Portuguese (Native), English (Advanced), Spanish (Conversational and Reading), and French (Reading).
