I am an Indian filmmaker and cinematographer. My work explores themes of memory, place and identity, with a focus on women and children. Most recently, I worked as a creative producer and editor on 'Tiffin', a short fiction film about the alienation felt by Muslim children in an increasingly right-wing India. I helmed the camera for ‘Hotel Naaz’, a short documentary about a third-generation Muslim Woman, who unwittingly rediscovers her relationship with her grandfather as she traces the history of their family hotel- Naaz Hotel and Purani Dilli. Other works include ‘Cities and Lovers’ and ‘Hum Jinns’, which have been video art projects on exploring the concept of space, love and personal identities in the changing landscape of urban life. I completed my Masters in Mass Communication, from AJK MCRC New Delhi, and have a Bachelors Honour degree in Political Science from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi University. Currently, I am pursuing Electronic Cinematography at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune. Besides Film and Media, I have actively practise theatre and music. Venice Is a a documentary film maker and photographer from the Philippines. Since she was little, stories has been a way for her to encounter life. From those told by grandmother about their province of origin to the ones by the people she meets and eventually films, the spoken words, and shared images builds bridges for her to the world of others. She graduated from the University of the Philippines Film Institute in 2012. In 2015 - 2017, she was accepted into the 4th Edition of the Doc Nomads Joint Masters in Documentary Film Directing which takes place in Lisbon, Budapest and Brussels. She currently resides in Manila, Philippines where she is completing her first film; “Under the Stars”-- which was funded by the IDFA Bertha Fund Classic. She is also producing the film “Xixi” by Taiwanese director, Fan Wu.

Arya Rothe (1990) is a documentary film director and producer from Pune, India and the co-founder of NoCut Film Collective. She graduated from DocNomads Master Course with a full scholarship. Before DocNomads, she studied at FAMU - National Film School of Czech Republic. Her first documentary film “Casa da Quina” (2015) had its World Premiere at DocLisboa and won the Special Mention Jury Award at FILMADRID in Spain. Her Hungarian graduation film, 'Daughter's Mother' (2018) had its World Premiere at Dok Leipzig Film Festival and is currently acquired for online distribution by GuideDoc. Her first feature length documentary as a co-director and a co-producer, A Rifle and A Bag is currently in post production with support from IDFA Bertha Fund, Netherlands, AlterCine Fund, Canada and Asian Cinema Fund, South Korea.
